Snooker’s Biggest Names Return To Brentwood Centre

Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, new World Champion Luca Brecel and defending champion Mark Selby will be among the snooker kings heading to the Brentwood Centre next month for the BetVictor English Open.

The tournament took place in Brentwood for the first time last year, and Selby beat Brecel 9-6 in the final.

The first round draw for this year’s event has been made and blockbuster matches on the opening day – Monday October 2nd – will include:

Matches involving the top 16 seeds will all take place in Brentwood, while other players will have to go through a qualifying round which runs from September 6-8 in Leicester. Once that is complete, the full draw and format will be announced.

The BetVictor English Open is the first of four events in the 2023/24 BetVictor Home Nations Series, and players will be competing for the famous Steve Davis Trophy. The event will be televised live by Eurosport, discovery+ and a range of broadcasters worldwide.
