The local mental health charity: Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham will be once again opening a Christmas themed attraction this year – Havering Christmas Land!
This unique attraction is located in ‘the secret garden for the blind’ in Harrow Lodge Park, next to the new Harrow Lodge Leisure centre. It is a ‘magical Christmas lights walkway’ featuring 000s of lights and decorations making a spectacular festive treat for the borough.
The attraction will also feature a stunning Santa’s grotto, food, and have entertainment onselected nights.
Entry into the walkway is £4.50pp with all money raised going towards the great work the charity does in supporting people in the community experiencing problems with their wellbeing.
Event organiser Ciaran White said ‘we wanted to create a magical Christmas attraction for the people of Havering, giving them a cost effective option for a Christmas outing right on their doorstep! I have been overwhelmed by the efforts of our team of volunteers – what they have created is truly spectacular!’
