Havering Council have announced that their waste and recycling team will be at Romford Market on Friday 6 October to give out information ahead of planned improvements and changes to the waste collection service.
The Council tweeted:
“They will be joined by Urbaser, the Council’s new contractors, answering questions & handing out tips on reducing waste.
“There will be a chance to see one of the waste collection vehicles which will be in use for when the new contract starts on Mon 23 October.
“If you’re in the market next Friday between 9am-4pm, stop by & say hello & find out more about the upcoming new additions to the service, such as glass collection & recycling more plastic items.”
