Footballing legends to raise funds for Brentwood Town

Two football legends will be appearing in Stock next month to talk about their football careers.

Dean Saunders played over 600 first class games for many top teams including Liverpool, Benfica and Aston Villa, winning the League Cup with them in 1994. He also played 75 times for Wales and his 22 goals puts in the top 5 all-time scorers for his country.

Alan Brazil was a major part of the Ipswich Town team which one the UEFA Cup in 1981; his team finished runners-up in the league that same year. He also played for Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and has 13 caps for Scotland.

They will both be the stars of a Sportsman’s Dinner, taking place at Greenwoods Hotel and Spa, Stock Road, Stock CM4 9BE on Friday 20 October.

There will be a three-course meal from the Banquet Menu and stories from Alan and Dean from their playing days and from their appearances on Talksport. It promises to be an evening of fun, food and great company.

The evening is a fundraiser for Brentwood Town’s Project 3G. There will also be an auction and raffle.

Tables of 10 are available for £995 + VAT. Spaces are limited to 200 and are going fast.
