Meet up Monday – new cafe launch by Frontline

Samantha Deeks from Frontline has bene in touch to tell us of an exciting new venture:

Frontline is excited to announce the new venue for our café. The official Launch Event is on Monday 23rd September, we welcome all of you to come.

Previously Crown Café and now called Meet up Monday, the café is now running from St Thomas Church, St Thomas Rd, Brentwood. As the name suggests, the café will be running on a Monday (term time only) and between the hours of 10.30am and 1.30pm (hot meals from 12noon).

The café runs alongside a sensory art group, Café Art. Café Art currently has an art exhibition running in Brentwood Library.

The café is known for its freshly baked scones and delicious homecooked meals, which we have been serving to the Brentwood Community for 22 years. The café provides paid employment opportunities for adults with a learning disability, and high and complex needs, through the HoursWorth Project.

The project offers 1 – 1 or 1 – 2 support to the employees through a dedicated job coach who supports them throughout the work session.

Please meet the team:

The café is a warm and welcoming community project where all are welcome to come along and enjoy coffee and cake, a light lunch or hot homecooked meal in a friendly environment.

The team is waiting to welcome you!
